I am an award winning photographer, who fell in love with making memorable images when my parents gave me a Brownie 127 camera as a child. A school trip to Spain in the early 1960s allowed me to try colour negative film -even though a local chemist told me that the camera "wasn't good enough". The challenge was made, and I came back with colourful pictures of The Pyrenees and a bullfight in Barcelona

A career in journalism and later in marketing communications for a major international group, allowed me to travel extensively in Europe, the USA and Middle East.

A diagnosis of cancer in 1998 has meant that I now concentrate on destinations closer to home in the UK . Happily now the illness is under control .

Now based in Northamptonshire, with a studio on The Embankment in Wellingborough,I love seeing the delight on my customers faces when they receive their finished photographs
